Some files require 'Administrator' permissions to work correctly. This is essentially a master key that allows the program to access restricted parts of your system that a standard user can't reach.
Running a program as the administrator should be as easy as right-clicking on the icon or .exe file and selecting 'Run as administrator' from the pop-up menu.
Below are some common file paths for the Big Fish Game Manager (BFGM) and most games if you need help locating them.
For the Big Fish Game Manager
Most of the time, the icon on the desktop can be used for the BFGM. If you don't get the option to from the desktop icon, try the following path:
- C: > Program Files (x86) > bfgclient > bfgclient.exe
If you don't see the .exe when looking in folders, click HERE for instructions on how to view folder extension files.
For Downloaded Games
Unfortunately, the desktop icon for games doesn't usually work, so below is the most common file path (assuming you haven't changed the download location):
- C: > Program Files (x86) > Game Name > Game Name.exe
If you don't see the .exe when looking in folders, click HERE for instructions on how to view folder extension files.

- Right-click on the icon or .exe and click 'Properties' from the pop-up menu.
- In the 'Properties', click the 'Compatibility' tab.
