Below are quick instructions on how to view folder extension files.
For PC
Open any folder on your computer (like your Documents or the Big Fish Games folder).
At the top of the window, look for the View tab (in Windows 11, this might be a small icon that looks like three horizontal lines or simply says 'View').
Hover over or click Show, then click to put a checkmark next to File name extensions.
You will now see the endings (like .exe, .zip, or .txt) at the end of every file name.
For Mac
Click on your desktop so that Finder is shown in the top-left corner of your screen.
Click Finder > Settings (or Preferences).
Click the Advanced tab (the gear icon).
Check the box for Show all filename extensions.
