When you uninstall a game through the Big Fish Games App (Game Manager), a folder is intentionally left behind that contains your saved game progress. This ensures you don't lose your place if you decide to reinstall. However, these save files can occasionally become corrupted, which can cause the game to crash or fail to open.
The instructions below will guide you through finding and removing these specific files and folders to ensure your next installation is completely fresh.
WARNING: Only follow these instructions if you are deliberately trying to delete your saved game progress to resolve a technical issue. If you are simply looking to do a normal uninstall and reinstall of a game without losing your progress, click HERE instead.
File Locations
Macs are very strict about where save data goes to prevent permission issues.
The Library Path: ~/Library/Application Support/
You can access this by opening Finder, clicking Go in the top menu, holding the Option key, and selecting Library.
Look for a folder named 'Big Fish Games' or the game's specific title.
The Containers Path: ~/Library/Containers/
For newer macOS versions.

CCleaner
If you are having trouble manually removing specific game files or folders, we recommend using a third-party application called CCleaner. It is particularly effective at clearing out hidden 'junk' and 'orphan' files that might be preventing a clean reinstall.
You can find the free version of CCleaner HERE.
NOTE: This is not a Big Fish product. While it is a useful tool to help locate and remove problem files/folders, we are not responsible for any issues that may arise from using it. We always recommend creating a backup of your important files before performing any system cleaning.
How to Use CCleaner
Cleaner Tab: Open the Cleaner tab and select the Applications sub-tab.
Check Caches: Ensure Internet Cache and Application Caches are selected to clear out old data that may cause permission errors.
Run Cleaner: Click Run Cleaner at the bottom right.
Uninstaller Tool: If a game is still failing, use the Tools > Uninstaller feature to remove it entirely, as this catches hidden files that dragging to the Trash might miss.
